Atlanta-based PrizePicks, North America’s largest daily fantasy sports (DFS) operator, has entered into a multi-year brand ambassador deal with comedian and internet sensation Drew “Druski” Desbordes. Druski, widely recognized for his comedic prowess and online presence, will play an integral role in several high-profile PrizePicks events, including the prestigious PrizePicks World Championship.
As part of this partnership, Druski will not only serve as the face of the brand but will also engage with fans through various initiatives. This move underscores PrizePicks’ commitment to growing its audience, merging sports and entertainment, and enhancing its brand appeal in the competitive fantasy sports market.
Druski to Head Comedy Series and Collaborate on Merchandise for PrizePicks
In addition to his ambassadorial duties, Druski will team up with PrizePicks to create a co-branded merchandise line and helm a short-form comedy series for the company’s YouTube channel. The comedian, who boasts nearly two million followers on YouTube, will use his platform to entertain PrizePicks users and draw attention to the DFS operator’s offerings. PrizePicks has been a favorite among Georgia sports fans, where sports betting remains illegal but daily fantasy sports play is both legal and thriving. This popularity was further solidified when PrizePicks earned the Fantasy Sports Business of the Year award in 2023 from the Fantasy Sports & Gaming Association.
PrizePicks allows its users to make daily fantasy picks on various sports leagues, including the NFL, MLB, and NBA. The company recently expanded into esports, launching an esports lab that offers valuable content and livestreams of major tournaments. Druski’s involvement will also include interactive social media takeovers, allowing fans to engage with the comedian as he showcases his love for the platform, something he’s done previously by sharing his daily fantasy picks on X (formerly Twitter).
On Sept. 7, Druski will take center stage at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena for his inaugural “Coulda Fest,” an event filled with comedy, music, and special performances. PrizePicks will serve as the title sponsor for this unique celebration of Atlanta’s vibrant culture. Druski has previously used his creative vehicle, Coulda Been Records, to collaborate with celebrities like Justin Bieber and Chance the Rapper, and fans can expect even more star-studded collaborations at the event.
Druski expressed his excitement about continuing his partnership with PrizePicks, stating, “I’m fired up to work with PrizePicks. Coulda Fest is a celebration of Atlanta’s culture, and I’m excited to bring this vision to life with PrizePicks’ support. We’ve done some cool things together, and I’m looking forward to even more.”
